THE NORTH EAST OF ENGLAND'S LARGEST INCLUSIVE RUNNING CLUB
FAQs
Useful Info
How often does Newcastle Frontrunners meet?
Details about our sessions and when we meet are in the Our Sessions section of the site but some of these are for members only. Once you are a member, you can access our up-to-date calendar on the Team App.
Do I have to be lesbian/gay/bi/trans/queer (LGBTQ+) to run?
Absolutely not, we’re an inclusive club and welcome everyone regardless of sexuality as long as you respect this ethos too. The club’s aims are to promote running to LGBTQ+ people and so most of our members identify as LGBTQ+, however we have plenty of ‘straight’ members too who are allies.
Do I have to be a member to participate?
No, we offer two no commitment free runs on a Wednesday only with the club at first to see if you like it, as the other sessions are for members only. We’re sure you’ll love it and want to become a member (and gain access to the benefits this brings). However if you don’t fancy the commitment of membership then you can pay on pay-as-you-go basis of £2 per session to cover costs. (However, this option is currently not available). Often it’s cheaper to become a member though. Our ‘membership info’ section has more information.
