Newcastle Frontrunners welcome new members. Running in a club has many benefits compared to running alone, including structured training, discounted race entry, and social activities. We are a running club, and so you need to be able to run a minimum amount before you come along* While COVID-19 restrictions are in place we accept potential members only on Wednesday evenings. Our main Wednesday night groups range from a slow 1-mile up to a speedy 7-mile, so there’s something for all abilities of runner. You can come and try a session for free, no obligation, and then decide whether you want to join us.
*If you can’t manage 1 mile non-stop at a slow pace (around 13 minutes per mile), then there are several local organisations who offer couch-to-5k programmes, or you can download a smartphone C25k app. Once you are able to run, get in touch.
